EYBL Indianapolis Best Game: NY RENS vs. St. Louis Eagles

You want a high level game? Look no further than Indianapolis' Saturday night headliner on Court 7.

The NY RENS and St. Louis Eagles battled for 36 minutes, treating fans, parents, and college coaches alike to a back-and-forth game full of tense moments.

The Eagles stormed out to a huge lead behind the dominance of Jordan Goodwin. The 6-foot-5 guard led the Eagles to a 38-22 halftime lead, helping his teammates force the RENS into their lowest scoring half through the first seven games. 

A flip switched for the RENS at halftime, watching them surge back into striking distance behind star guards Hamidou Diallo and Jose Alvarado. They found themselves within striking distance during the game's final moments, which saw Diallo record this ridiculous runner at the buzzer:

The RENS completed the impressive comeback, narrowly escaping with a 75-74 overtime victory. Check out the highlights below from the crazy final minute.

This matchup managed to have the gym buzzing even though it was being played during the same time as PSA vs. MOKAN. Diallo, Goodwin and company ended up stealing the show, putting together one of the most competitive EYBL matchups of 2016.

Goodwin finished with 24 points and 18 rebounds, a performance that helped him land on First Team All-Indianapolis. Diallo, who was named Second Team All-Indy, recorded 19 points and 6 rebounds while Alvarado led the way with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
