Thatch, the 6-2, 200-pound guard, was the Missouri Class 4 Player of the Year according to the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association after averaging 20.7 points, 10 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.5 steals. He's also a Top-10 finalist for the 2016 Semoball Awards Basketball Player of the Year.
He led Sikeston to a 28-3 record and a fourth-place finish at this year's Class 4 Show-Me Showdown in Columbia, Mo.
Romeo Langford from New Albany, Ind., was named the National Sophomore of the Year.
Selections to the all-sophomore team are based on team success, individual production and local, regional and state honors.
